Social Studies Text Analysis Within the Social Studies Text Analysis, my partner took an indepth look at two Fourth grade Social Studies Text books. Our aim was to evaluate the content and objectives of the two books. We examined various components to the two texts and then compared our findings. This project allowed me to dig deep into these Social Studies texts to decide what best compliments the curriculum. I was able to determine which aspects were appropriate and which needed a little boost before being implemented effectively. This analysis provided me with experience in selecting appropriate curricula material, evaluating its worth, and deciding how to utilize resources to enhance my Social Studies curriculum (10.6).
