Artifact #1 |
Telefolio This telefolio is a collection of artifacts
that exhibit the technology skills that I have acquired during my college
education at Appalachian State University. While completing this telefolio
I met both the ISTE National Educational Technology Standards and INTASC
Principles required for teachers in the state of Context I created this portfolio during my senior block at Appalachian State University in the fall of 2002. It was created under the supervision of Jeff Goodman, using Netscape Composer, Microsoft Word, digital camera, scanner, and various other tools and programs. Impact This portfolio will be used in order to meet the requirements for the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers, as well as the INTASC Principles. I will use this portfolio as a tool in my classroom. It demonstrates that I have mastered many of the basic skills needed in order to work with and give instructions to use technology. This portfolio demonstrates that I have the skills to construct web pages, edit video, operate a camcorder, operate a scanner, use various software programs including Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Power Point, and many other devices and programs mentioned throughout the portfolio. Alignment This advanced technology portfolio demonstrates that I have a sound understanding of technology concepts, operations, and functions. It shows that I have obtained the skills needed to stay current with the latest technologies. The rationales for each artifact include ideas on how I plan to use the artifact or a similar lesson in my classroom. The technology portfolio is on going. I plan to add more artifacts as my career progresses. Because of this fact, it will demonstrate continual growth and development in technology. (Technology Competency I A) (Technology Competency I B)
