This is a map of the set-up of my classroom. This method of classroom organization ensures equal access to media and technology resources for all students in my classroom (14.2). I also plan to maintain a sign-up sheet at each computer to appropriate equal access for all students. This classroom environment will support active student involvement, inquiry, and collaboration through the incorporation of technology into the classroom setting (12.4). The map is one example of how I would organize my classroom to best meet the needs of all my students. This classroom would utilize all technology and media provisions, and would promote cooperative learning through technology. Student work using technology would be displayed and highly accessible to others to view their work. This atmosphere within the classroom will motivate all students to become excellent learners through all types of technology.
