In creating a classroom set up, I had to think about the best possible arrangment to promote student learning and participation. The centers and the overall space is deliberately placed so that students have access to learning materials and still have plenty of space to work. There are areas for individual and group work and also other stations for special projects (12.4). The placement of the technology centers including a computer and a listening center help to ensure that these resources are accessible to all of the students (14.2).
