This unit incorporates Social Studies with Language Arts through the use of literature circles.
          Students will be provided with the opportunities to increase reading levels, vocabulary and
          comprehension.  They will be analyzing information about the Colonial Period, American Revolution, and the people
          involved.  Students will be reading historical fictional books pertaining to this topic.. They will be working in a two day rotation method of reading, job tasks, discussion, journal entries and summaries.
