Technology Portfolio
 

Context: In the fall of 2002, I completed this telefolio in my Integrating Media and Techonology class.  In this class, we discussed ways to integrate new and popular technology into our future classrooms.  The telefolio is divided according to artifact, technology competencies, and the INTASC Principles.  It was created by using Netscape Composer.

Impact:  This technology portfolio will be used to meet the requirements for my National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers portfolio.  Throughout the process of completing this telefolio, I have learned many new methods and manners of using technology in the classroom.  As a result, I feel more comfortable with integrating new technology into my classroom.

Alignment:  This telefolio has given me the opportunity to strengthen some of my already exiting technology skills.  I have continued to improve in the use of communication via email and in word processing (Tech Comp I A).  In addition, I have also learned how to take pictures using a digital camera, as well as how to crop the pictures using Adobe Photoshop, video capturing, and web page construction (Tech Comp I B).
