Textbook Analysis
  • The main purpose of this activity was to provide an in-depth examination of the most commonly used teaching tool for Social Studies, the textbook (10.6).  We were to type  an analysis comparing two elementary level textbooks for the same grade published since 1994 by two different publishers.  The analysis consisted of a reflection of the intent of each book and how the authors examined the issues of the curriculum.
