News Letter:A letter sent home to parents telling them what I was going to be doing during my internship.

 
Context
I created this newsletter during my internship at Beech Mountain Elementary School.The last couple weeks of my pre-service training, I worked with the kindergarten and first grade class on a full time basis.I wanted to introduce who I was to the students' parents/guardians, and let them know what I would be doing with the students while I was there.

 
Impact
This newsletter satisfies the Technology Competencies and the INTASC Standard written below.I will continue to use newsletters when I am teaching because I think it is important to inform parents what my goals are for the year and I think it is very crucial to maintain open communication with students' parents.

 
Alignment
By producing this newsletter, I used Microsoft Word, a digital camera, and Adobe Photoshop (Tech Comp 12.3).I also met INTASC #10 by communicating with students' parents/guardians and maintaining a relationship with them.
