Completion of the Technology Portfolio
This is my telefolio itself.  It consists of eleven artifacts that vary in description and in use.

Context
This portfolio was created in the fall of 2001 while at Appalachian State University as part of my Integrating Technology into Instruction class.  This product was created to demonstrate technology skills that I have mastered and will use in my future classroom.

Impact
This product will help me as a future teacher because it has provided me with an opportunity to learn about basic as well as emerging technologies.  It also helps me as a future educator and as a learner because it has provided me with an opportunity to learn skills that I can use in my future classroom.

Alignment
This product demonstrates that I have mastered basic technology skills because it includes technology products that have been created by using many different types of technology resources.  The skills used for creating all of these artifacts in this telefolio, such as word processing, using the Internet, being aware of laws, and using other resources, demonstrate that I have mastered the basic technology skills required by the National Education Technology Standards (Technology Competency 1A).  This telefolio product also demonstrates that I have mastered emerging technologies because many of the artifacts involved required me to learn how to use resources such as video capture, the use of digital cameras, and the construction of web pages to provide information to others (Technology Competency 1B).
