Artifact 1: Sign up sheet for computer lab

Context:  This artifact includes a  printout of a computer lab sign up sheet that includes information for the lab user to fill out, such as the user's  name, computer number, teacher’s name, time in, and time out.  This was created using Microsoft Word in a computer technology class at Appalachian State University.

Impact:  This artifact allows any student who wishes to use the computer lab to do so as long as he/she can provide the information requested and can follow the rules and regulations regarding computer lab usage.  Implementing these rules and regulations will be a major part of the way in which I manage technology resources. I am now prepared to begin letting any student who chooses to do so to use the computer lab as long as that student conforms to the guidelines contained within the artifact.

Alignment: By creating this sign up sheet, I am ensuring that all children will have equitable access to technology resources (Tech-competency VI-E).
