Artifact 10

This is an online database that contains information on various children's books. It includes information about the publisher, author, instructional ideas, and a brief summary about each book.

Context:

The entries found in the database were created during block 2002. We had to read 20 books and put information about each book on the database.

Impact:

This database is a very useful tool for the classroom. As a teacher you can read the information about a certain book and decide whether or not you should use it in your own classroom. The database contains several entries for many different genres and reading levels.

Alignment:

This database shows that I can apply technology to increase productivity. It offers teachers quick and easy access to information on books that they may want to read to their students as a class. (Technology Standard V C)
