Ethnography
This project was designed to find out how media impacts the lives of children in our society today.

Context:
This project was completed by a group of interns working together at Crossnore School to find out how the media has had an impact on the lives of 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders.

Impact:

As a teacher this Ethnography will help me to better understand how media does effect our students and ways in which we as teachers can help control this influence. This project could also be presented to parents to also help them better understand the effect media has on young children.

Alignment:

This project shows that I can effectively use resources to collect and analyze data about students and communication. (Technology Standard IV B)

This project proves that I can use technology to communicate and collaborate with peers, parents, and the larger community about important issues. (Technology Standard V D)

This project shows that I will be able to promote a safe and healthy use of the technology in my classroom by controlling the amount of influence media has on my students. (Technology Standard VI D)
