The set-up of a room is one of the most important features of the classroom. It is always very important for the students to know where everything is located in the classroom. I want a very organized classroom, so I have a designed map to go by for reference. In the set-up of the room, there is a location for books, desks, tables, bulletin boards, materials, supplies (writing, science, and art), sink, TV/VCR, posters, charts, audio/visual equipment, maps, library center, reference materials, and computers (14.2). Everything in the class is set-up so that it is facing out in the room. Every student has the access that they need to reach each piece of equipment.
