My inquiry project is on instructional
strategies in the classroom. This project will be very useful for
teachers to have new ideas to present information to students. Also,
students could even benefit from this project. Not only will they
not be bored when their teacher uses a new instructional strategy, but
they could use this information for their own presentations in a classroom.
The group that I was a member of in doing this project did a lot of research
for this topic. We used printed materials, the internet, and interviews
with teachers for all of our information. Part of our project includes
a power point presentation. We will use this multimedia presentation
to present our information, but it will also serve as the teaching tool
to our peers. We will use this power point technology in this class
to increase the learning of our peers (11.1).
The students will learn how to develop their own power point presentation
on a subject that they would prefer to research (12.1).
To find the information for their particular subject, students will have
access to many instructional ideas and learning tools (12.7).
Also, our group designed a web page that can be used as a resource for
finding information on instructional strategies. The web page has
all of the information used in the presentation and many other resources
on instructional strategies in the classroom (12.3).
