     While in Block at Appalachian State University, one of my assignments was an Inquiry Project. As a group project, I researched ADD/ADHD and developed a brochure that was given out during the presentation. We also did a Power Point presentation on the different kinds of learning disabilities.
      As a teacher I will be able to use this material to better reach the students in my classroom that may have learning disabilities. I will know what to look for when diagnosing a child and I will know what steps to take once a child is determined Learning Disabled.
      In using a computer to develop the brochure that was handed out to the class and by presenting our information with Power Point, media and technology was used to present Learning Disabilities so that it was comprehensible to others(11.2). By using a Power Point presentation, it helped us as a group to be able to show our information in a way the audience could view the material as it was being presented. Also by presenting the information with Power Point, media communication technologies were used in the presentation to the class(11.4).
In using the information that was found on Learning Disabilities as staff development and using technology in the presentation to colleagues, a variety of media was used to communicate results clearly.
