     While in block at Appalachian State University, one of my assignments was to find technology that is available for children with special needs. For this assignment I emailed AskEric. AskEric responded with many different web pages that were available for use with special needs students.
      In my classroom, I can use these web pages to help my special needs students to have the best opportunities available to learn. For example, by using a device that magnifies the monitor, visually impaired students will be able to use the computer for class assignments. Another item that could be used to help students with visual impairments are stickers that are placed on the keyboard. These web pages could be used to support the material that students are learning in class. The web pages can also be used as a resource for myself as a teacher.
      In finding using the device that magnifies the monitor in my classroom, I will be using media and technology to support learning for children with special needs(13.2). I also used the appropriate resources to meet diverse learning needs through technology with finding these web pages(13.4).
