Power Point Presentation:

Context:
I created a power point presentation as an educational experience while at Appalachian State University. This presentation was done with a small group, focused on Special Education in the classroom. My focus was working with the  Gifted and Talented. A copy of the brochure is included.

Impact:
This presentation helped to enhance my professional development as a teacher. It also provided data and information for my colleagues to use because I had a brochure for them to study and refer to. The brochures may be used as a tool for new teachers to use in the classroom.

Alignment:
This Power Point Presentation allowed me to present a variety of information with the  click of a cursor from the computer program. I plan to use power point presentations for my class in order to research a topic, read, discover and present a subject that is being taught (11.3). By viewing all of the electronic presentations, the students gain information visually and verbally (11.4).
