Context:
It is very important to get lesson plans
that meet the requirements of the North Carolina Standard course of Study.
An ERIC search has an abundance of lesson plans that meet those requirements.
Teachers can use the search for a variety of subject areas. I chose to
obtain a lesson plan for the math strand, "Patterns, Functions, and Relations."
Impact:
I will continue to use the ERIC search because
it offers such an array of good materials to meet the needs of many different
children. The site also offers ESL lessons that can be integrated into
the classroom curriculum.
Alignment: ERIC is a resource that can meet
the needs of many different learners. ERIC offers a variety of lessons
that have a hands-on approach as well as a visual approach to learning
(13.4).
