The Newsletter is used as a form of communication between the classroom teacher and the parents.  It is helpful to relay past projects in the classroom as well as future happenings concerning thier children.

Context
This newsletter was created using Microsoft Publisher while I was a senior at Appalachian State University.  I created this newsletter to inform the parents of Ms. Morris' fourth grade of who I was and how I was going to be participating in their child's classroom.

Impact
I will send this newsletter to parents prior to my fulltime internship in the classroom.  It will allow the parents to have an idea of who their children are talking about when they come home.  It will help me understand what is upcoming in my internship. As well as giving me the chance to inform children of class for the next month.  I would like to send a newsletter home monthly in order to keep my thoughts in line and the parents up to date.

Alignment
This newsletter allowed me to correspond with the parents of my students.  In doing this I kept the line of communication open to make sure that as much information about what was going on in the classroom was being passed on to the parents.  This helps the teacher save time when parental involvement is needed to better the education of their child.  When the parents are kept informed they are more likely to be involved in the child's learning process.
