Modern Fashion and Invention Project : is a project created to design a web page about an ideal product that you wished to create using various objects.
Competency 10.5: "The NC Computer Skills Assessment."
Context:
I created this artifact during block of my senior year at ASU. I worked
in a group of four to create a set web pages to sell the new product that
we created from some random object. We used Netscape Composer to design
a set of web pages to display our product and its information. It was
to persuade customers of how good our product was and the reasons why they
should buy it. It is to be used as an example for other teachers and
students to follow when using this idea within their classrooms.
Impact:
As a future teacher, I know that technology is going to be very big in our
lives in the future, so I want to get my students involved doing all they
can with it. I designed this as an example for the students to go by
when creating their own product. This will benefit the students socially
and intellectually. They will become more familiar with working in
groups and working with technology.
Alignment:
This artifact aligns with competency 10.5
- it allows students to become familiar with technology and how it can be
used within the classroom. They will then be aware of the computer
skills assessment through the technology used in their classroom. This
project which teach the students various ways of using the computer and the
technology of the future.
