Artifact 6:
Class Web-site

Context:
Created during my intership at Bethel Elementary school.

Impact:
Became a useful technology resource in communicating with parents.

Alignment:
Creating this web-site has many links that are useful for parents, students, and me as a teacher.  The web-site includes one link where parents can go and review the upcoming events in school and my classroom.  Also, the parents can look on the class calender to look at homework assignments, upcoming projects, and units that we are doing in school.  By providing this web-site it would cut down on copies of information to students and parents (Tech. V.C).  With the classroom web-site avaliable for parents, students, and other teachers, this makes all communication ties very easy to access (INTASC Principle #10).  Through the web-site I have a place where you can email me to ask questions or suggestions (Tech. V.D)
