Artifact 9:
Computer Sign-In Sheet

Context:
Created the computer sheet during my fall semester at Appalachian State University.

Impact:
This sheet that explains rules at the computer station, will help me inform my students of the guidelines that are expected of them during their computer use time.  This sheet will also help me manage computer time equally between my students.

Alignment:
A sheet will be located in the computer station for my students to look at for reference to the regulations that are required of them during their time.  The computer sheet will explain rules such as, having good posture while at the computer, shutting down the computer properly, no drinks or food at the computer, and so on (Tech.VI.D).  Also, the sheet will include a section where students have to sign in and write down the duration of their time spent at the computer.  By having this record, I can easily survey the sheet and see who is "hogging" the computer and who needs more experience with the computer in my classroom (INTASC Principle #6) and  (Tech.VI.E).
