One: Five Educational Software Evaluation--
Completed
in ed. computer classroom (FDN 3100) for the
sole purpose of assisting us in determining what
kinds of software are available, how to use them
and quality.
Artifact
Two: 500 Nations Evaluation--
A unit plan produced in
FDN 3100 around this particular piece of software
to incorporate different mediums including art,
core subjects, writing, and basic computer work. I
had several requirements to complete including a
complete instruction for a substitute.
Artifact
Three: Inclusion-PP--
In FDN 3100, a group of us were
interested in learning more about inclusion and to
inform the other class members. We produced a
power point presentation on this issue. Main
purpose was to provide us with practice.
Artifact
Four: Electronic Grade Book--
We created a small data-
base of students with different grades, progress,
and basic information for the purpose of the teacher
in FDN 3100. Charts were included to show a
visual of what the students were doing. An easy and
efficient way to collect and keep data.
Artifact
Five: Newsletter--
Another assignment in FDN 3100 was
to create some type of newsletter to use for the
classroom. I decided on doing a first year news-
letter for parents and students. I provided infor-
mation on rules, curriculum, and background info.
Artifact
Six: Media Literacy Web Page--
Kerry Butler and I completed this
project in Block 436 (Fall 1999). A project analyzing
advertisements, writing letters to the fifth grade class about
billboards ideas, creating the billboard ideas or products with
approval steps, and then displaying throughout the school.
Artifact
Seven: Self-Assessment With Computer Skills--
A packet of
information given in FDN 3100 including grade levels,
competencies required, and ways to assess the students.
Artifact
Eight: Technology Center--
During my internship, I had the
opportunity to work with the students on computers. I was
able to see two different center set-ups, which have its own
purpose. I took images to relate to each other, included a
possible role play that the students could initiate, and a
sign-up sheet for those students who never get to work on
computers during school hours.
Artifact
Nine: Social Studies Unit Plan--
Four of us interested in sixth grade

Eastern Hemisphere. We broke down the unit plan into four

technology, a speaker, festivals, and field trips.
