Computer Sign-up Sheet - a sheet where my students can sign up in advance for a time to work on the computer.
Context:
This sign-up sheet was created with Microsoft Works as a part of my
Block experience at Appalachian State University.
Impact:
This sheet can be used in the classroom to make sure that students
in my classroom have equal access to the computer. I will monitor
the sign-up sheet to ensure that each child has the opportunity to use
the equipment and that it is not being monopolized by one group.
Alignment:
Having a sing-up sheet in your classroom allows students to be responsible
for setting aside a time to work on the computer. By giving each
student a block of time where they are allowed uninterrupted use of the
computer, you help to ensure that there is an equal opportunity for all
to access to it (Tech Comp 14.2).
