Context
I searched the Internet to look for websites helpful to those in the
teaching profession. Through my search, I was able to find fifteen
websites that I thought would be beneficial to me as a future educator.
Impact
These websites offer valuable tools and information that can be used
to correspond with the NC Course of Study for every subject area in every
grade level. These websites will be beneficial for any teacher considering
using these resources.
Alignment
This list of websites for teachers aligns with competency
10.3. As a future NC educator, I plan to use these websites to
make my elementary school classroom the very best learning environment
that it can be. One of these websites is not better than another
because they all offer information that is equally vital to the teaching
profession.
Alignment to INTASC Standards
This artifact aligns with INTASC
Standard 9 because it gives teachers new ideas and allows other teachers
to reflect on successful activities that have made learning a success for
many students. The purpose of these websites is to support fellow
teachers with ideas and techniques that have proved successful in the classroom.
These websites provide ideas about teaching and will help me to grow professionally.
