Literature Database

Context:  During spring 2002, I added entries to an online children's literature database to fulfill a requirement for the language arts methods class.

Impact:  I would use this database to search for books that are appropriate for the grade level and subject that I plan to teach.  The database includes summaries, instructional ideas, and ratings for each book. 

Alignment:  Use of this database demonstrates my ability to use technology to increase productivity.  I would search through this database to find appropriate books to use in my classroom.  (VC)  It also demonstrates my ability to use technology to communicate with others to nurture student learning.  Because I contributed to the database, I am exposing other teachers and parents to important resources that will help students.
