Artifact 5:
Babelfish.com: A website that allows people to type in English text and have it translated into French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian.

Context:
I discovered this website during my elementary block experience and found that it would be a very useful tool in working with ESL students.

Impact:
This website would be very useful for students, parents, and teachers. ESL students could use this website to help them check over homework and conquer their language barriers. Teachers could find this site useful in helping them type up letters to parents of ESL students, so that they could become more involved in the classroom and felt free to communicate more freely with the teacher.

Alignment:
This website demonstrates my knowledge of how to use media and technology to support learning for children whose primary language is not English (Tech Comp 13.3).
