Context:
I created a video along with several other students in Block 436 of a children's book.  Our group chose the book The True Story of The Three Little Pigs. 

Impact:
In doing this project I was able to see that students can take a simple book or scenes from a book and create a movie with sounds and effects all original.  It was really neat to see that students will get excited about reading and sharing what they read if they are given an opportunity to express their own interpretation.  We used technology equipment such as a digital video camera and IMovie.

Alignment:
The video encourages students to think creatively and solve problems.  (Technology Competency III C)  This project requires the teacher to creatively manage equipment, because there will be limited resources. A sign-up sheet should be created to check out equipment in order to efficiently manage the equipment.  (Technology Competency III D)
