In my final semester in the elementary education program at A.S.U., I did extensive research in ESL inclusion. I was curious about how I would handle these students with special needs in my future classroom. The Yahoo web site in Spanish found at http://espanol.yahoo.com would be an excellent resource for an ESL student to comfortably use and explore the Internet.
When using Yahoo for a classroom project or lesson, such as research for a social studies activity, I could then use this companion web site that would already be specially adapted for my learners whose primary language is not English.
This artifact satisfies 13.3 because it shows that I can use technology to locate information to support learning for my ESL students.
