Artifact #10:
Sign Up Sheet for Computer Lab

Context

This sign up sheet was designed to create equal time slots for the computer lab.  By signing in, all student's computer time will be recorded, which will help keep track of who has been on the computer, and who needs more time on the computers.  This type of sign in sheet also helps keep track of student's whereabouts and help notify when students are not where they should be.  As teachers, we are responsible for the children at all times, and this sign in sheet will offer a record of student's location.

Impact

This sign in sheet is beneficial to all students by providing a way for all students to have equal time on the computer, and for all students to be accounted for when it comes to the child's safety and well being.  We, as teachers, need to know where our students are at all times, and this sheet will provide a list of student's locale.

Alignment

This artifact corresponds to the Advanced Technology Competency 14.2 because it ensures equal access to media and technology resources for all students.  It is a sign in sheet for a lab that monitors the student's use on the computer, and establishes a way for all users to have access to the computers.
