List of Websites for Teachers
Context
This list of websites was created to help teachers easily find sites that will provide useful information to include in their classrooms. Lesson plans, historical information, question and answer forums, and other useful materials can be accessed by visiting these websites. By going to a search engine on the Internet, such as yahoo.com, I searched for lesson plans that I could print off. Some sites listed specific grade levels that had age-appropriate lesson plans.
Impact
These websites will be very beneficial to all teachers because the Internet provides such a vast variety of informative lesson plans that are useful to teachers. Integrating additional information from the Internet into lesson plans that have already been prepared gives the students a better interpretation of the topics that are being discussed.
Alignment
These
lesson plans meet Competency 10.3 because it
provides a list of resources for planning instruction via the Internet.
By accessing these WebPages, many lesson plans and information that is
useful to teachers will be found. Not only does this project meet
State Competencies but INTASC Principles as well, including Principle
#6. The teacher is using the media (Internet) to find material
that will be useful in his/her classroom.
