Artifact 7

During my coursework at Appalachian State University, I found this artifact and thought that it would be extremely useful in helping my students who speak English as a second language. The artifact is found at Yahoo! España, a site that is entirely Spanish.

As a teacher I think that this web site would be useful for ESL students. These students will be able to use the Spanish Yahoo when doing research for projects and other assignments. It will make the research part a little easier for them because they won’t have to spend so much time translating words they do not know or understand.

This web site uses media and technology to support learning for children whose language is not English (13.3). Students who speak English as their second language will find this site useful and it will help those students in their learning.
