Developmental Case Study:  an online compilation of the progression of development for Kindergarten through sixth grade students, focusing on emotional, social, intellectual and physical growth.

Context

This webpage was constructed during my Elementary School Curriculum and Instruction class at Appalachian State University.  It contains helpful insight into the development of students throughout grades K-6 and is presented in an easily navigated fashion.

Impact

This webpage will be available as a resource to parents, teachers and the community as whole.  It will provide a better understanding of the evolution of the students.

Alignment

The case study webpage includes an overview of the different stages of development encountered in Kindergarten through sixth grade students.  Visitors to the webpage will get information on the physical, emotional, social and intellectual changes and stages students encounter as they mature.  The design of this webpage facilitates the transmittance of information to the school community, as well as the outside community and is a presentation of student progress through the aforementioned stages (Tech Comp 12.3).
