Artifact 11:  List of Children’s Television Resources

Context:
This list was created in my Integrating Media into the classroom course at Appalachian State University.

Impact:
By creating this list of children’s television resources, I will have an on hand copy of resources that I can turn to when planning lessons.  Not only can I access these resources, but my students will have access to them as well.  These resources can be used in grade levels K-5.  By having these resources, I can develop lesson plans that deal specific topic offered by their television source.

Alignment:
This list of television resources can help me to utilize what is free and beneficially to my class.  Each television resource can provide specific information pertaining to the curriculum in your classroom and allow you to develop lesson plans and an assessment tool to evaluate student learning (Tech Comp 10.2).
