Name: Media Literacy Ethnography: a web site that focuses on the impact of media in elementary schools. The site was created to show what a huge impact media does have on children of all ages and how that impact is reflected in the schools.
Context: This ethnography was created in my CI 3750 class at Appalachian State University as a tool to exhibit the reality of how much children really take in when we don't think they're paying that much attention.
Impact: The ethnography can be used in the classroom as an example of what students can create using their technological skills after researching, analyzing, and interpreting data.
Alignment: This artifact shows how I used technology resources (digital camera, Netscape Composer, and word processing) to collect and analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings (Tech Comp IVB).
