Technology Portfolio

Context:
This portfolio was created at Appalachian State University in the Spring and Fall of 2001.  It was created in FND 3100 and CI 3750 (Integrating Media and Technology into Teaching).  I was given a template in Netscape Communicator which provided a guideline to go by while preparing this artifact.

Impact:
This portfolio is an excellent way for me to practice technology skills that I previously had and learn new technology skills.  By doing this portfolio, I got ideas for my classroom and things I can do with my students.  By working on this, I feel that I have gained ability to rely on the internet and computer for communication and as a resource.  This artifact will help me in my ongoing education by giving me a foundation for technology in my professional development.

Alignment:
This artifact aligns wish Technology Standards IA and IB.  My portfolio demonstrates my knowledge in concepts and skills related to technology.  Because this is an ongoing process, the artifact also shows my continual growth in emerging technologies.
