Artifact 7:  Physical Education Activity File

Context:

The Physical Education Activity File was created using the word processing program entitled Microsoft Word.  It has the addition of hyper links to help facilitate the accessibility of the page, and it contains a Table of Contents to help users with the maneuvering of the document.

Impact:

Physical Education is often an area where teachers do not put a lot of time or effort, but it is important to remember that one is obligated to teach to the whole child.  Therefore, PE is an important part of learning.

Alignment:

The Physical Education Activity File can be used to help teachers be more productive in their classrooms.  (Tech Comp. VC). By having the activities all listed on a condensed page with hyper links to each specific activity, teachers can save a lot of time when trying to remember games to play or lessons to implement.  It is much easier than flipping through a book to find appropriate lessons, because it has a Table of Contents and even an assessment for each activity telling how appropriate each one is for what grade level.
