Classroom Management Assignment

Classroom Management Assignment

Context: The Classroom Management Assignment was created during the fall of 2002 in Pam Schram's CI 4000 class. I collected information about my classroom environment at Bethel Elementary School in the Kindergarten classroom. With this assignment, I wrote about classroom routines as well as how I would like for my own classroom to be set up. This assignment also includes a write up about the classroom environment and culture at Bethel and how I would like my classroom environment to be.

Impact: These assignments will help me as a teacher because I have observed and witnessed things in a classroom that will influence my choices that I will make in the future about my own classroom environment. I have also gathered some very good ideas about how I want to manage my future classroom.

Alignment: This assignment aligns with technology standard II A because it shows my ability to design appropriate learning activities for diverse learners. It also aligns with II D because it shows how I will use technology resources. It aligns with INTASC principal 5 because it shows how I want to create my learning environment in my classroom that will encourage positive social interaction.
