Planning/Teaching/Reflecting lesson

Math lesson on Patterns and Relationships

Context: This lesson was designed during my internship at Bethel Elementary School. It was designed for Kindergarten. It is a math lesson on patterns and relationships. The lesson was planned and taught during the fall of 2002.

Impact: This lesson will help me be a better teacher because it will help me plan lessons in the future. I can use it for reference if I ever need a good lesson for a Kindergarten level class.

Alignment: This lesson aligns with technology standard IV A because this shows how I am using technology to assess the children. It also aligns with INTASC principle 8 because it shows how I can use assessment strategies to evaluate my students and plan for continuous development. It also aligns with principle 9 because it shows how I am evaluating my choices for lessons and how they affect the students learning.
