Math Assessments

Math Assessments

Context: These assessments were collected during the fall of 2002. I did this work at Bethel Elementary School during my internship. For these assessments, I used first graders. I interviewed them about their attitudes about math, observed them during math class, and collected samples of their work to evaluate.

Impact: These assessments will help me in the classroom because I will be able to use them to see how I want to evaluate and assess my own students. With the experience of already doing this, I hope to be able to assess my children without difficulty in the future.

Alignment: This aligns with technology standard IV B because I have used technology to collect and analyze data with the children. It also aligns with INTASC principle 8 because I have used an assessment strategy to evaluate children.
