Competency 10.3: Access resources for planning instruction available via telecommunications (e.g., experts, lesson plans, authentic date, curriculum materials).
Context
I have compiled a list of websites that I can use in my teaching career. I hope to teach in or near K-3 grades so I searched for materials that would be useable for those grade levels. I used www.google.com to search for websites that I could use. I used these websites and made a list in Microsoft Word describing the sites and their usefulness. I then printed out the list and added it to my portfolio.
Impact
As a future teacher, I will use the internet as a resource for teacher and student material. I can also use these sites in my classroom for my students and hands on computer skills.
Alignment
I looked at different websites
and have used them to make a listing of websites that will be useful in
my teaching career. Therefore, I have met competency 10.3.
I feel confident about using these sites in my classroom.
