Description:My portrait of a learner video was done in order to watch and observe one child's academic activities and social aspects of his everyday life at school.  Here a future teacher can see how well he gets along with others and how diligent he works on his school work.  This will also show those who are beginning teachers that children need to be constantly busy and that hands-on activities help a child learn more about the subject and idea being taught.  Throughout this video, I have videotaped the age appropriate assesments that I had worked on with my portrait studentand can share with parents (12.3). 
      Putting this video together took a lot of time and hardwork.  I used a video camera to tape all the information needed for the video.  I then took this video to the editing lab to transfer certain parts of the original video and added music and voice over for the final product (12.2).
       This is a good way for teachers to keep a portfolio of everything the child does not just the pictures he or she makes or the good grades the child has.  I can keep up with what the child does throughout the year no matter what it is.
