Description:
With many subjects and areas to cover, this group project was put together
to inform us, new teachers, of the struggles and problems most teachers
are faced with everyday. This information covered areas like handling ADD/ADHD
students to special education students to just over excited children. This
imformation was obtained mainly over the internet through sites that covered
information on discipline and the classroom. The internet sites used were
ones through the state and national organizations, CHADD and many others
(13.4).This information can be used at any grade
(mainly elementary grades) and can be relayed to parents so they can start
the discipline control at home. My project is done with the use of overheads,
computers, and many other creative was of teaching or informing others
of what can be done in the classroom to make out first year of teaching
a successful one (11.2). With this project we
have decided to put together a packet of information containing all the
helpful information we will need that first year. With these we can look
back when help and/or advice is needed.
