Artifact 9

       For a math methods class, I was required to create a math lesson using the math strands. I found the idea for my lesson on the Internet. This lesson plan can be used to help children work with patterns.
       Looking on the Internet gave me the idea I needed to make patterns understandable by first graders. I can use this lesson or the method that I used to find this lesson when I teach in the classroom.
       This lesson plan meets competency goal 10.3 because I used resources for planning instruction available through telecommunications.
