I chose a student from my fourth grade class to study in my Portrait of a Learner project. This was an assignment within my Block as an elementary education major at Appalachian State University. To complete this project I needed to make a three to five minute video about my student.
In my future classroom I will be able to effectively tape my students during class activities and assessments. This will help me to go back and remember how they were behaving and how their assessments were going.
This meets competency goal 12.2
because I am using a video camera to collect information about my students.
