I completed this map of a potential classroom set-up during my block experience at Appalachian State University. The map shows a classroom that has various easily accessible centers for computer work, group study, and individual work. The map specifically shows where desks, tables, and storage spaces are located. As a teacher, I will use this map as a guide when I am setting up my own classroom. The arrangement of my classroom will help me to better facilitate learning in my classroom, and it will give me the adequate places for listening, talking, reading, and writing. This map meets competency 12.4
because it shows the use of technology in the classroom. This map
also ensures that students will be able to have adequate access to the
computers in my classroom and therefore meets competency 14.2.
