Context
These artifacts about copyright policy were
acquired from a power point presentation given in class and from the Internet.
The first handout, Copyright in an Electronic Environment, was produced
at the website http://www.dpi.state.nc.us/copyrightI.html. The second one
is a printout of the power point presentation on the copyright laws and
fair use policy. The information was provided by the Internet and out teacher.
The last artifact, Citing Electronic Resources in APA and MLA Style is
from the website http://www farmingdale

h t ht ml. This article is about how to cite different resources from the
Internet such as databases, WebPages, newspaper articles and email correspondences.
Impact
As a teacher, I want my students to be aware of what is legal to be taken from the Internet. It is up to me to make them wary of the copyright laws and the fair use policy. They need to know what is available to them as well as what is legal.
