Sign Up Sheet for Computer Lab
Context:
This table is made with the intent of children being allowed to monitor their usage of the computers in my classroom. I included the following columns in the table: Name, Date, Time In, Time Out, and Computer Number. The table was made with a word-processor and using the table menu to produce it.
Impact:
As a future elementary teacher in the state of North Carolina, I feel that I will be able to use this table in my classroom. Students that are normally shy and timid to speak up to use the computer may sign up for a particular time during the day and they will not have to speak up and "fight" for the computer. This sign up sheet will also allow me, as the teacher; to monitor the usage and assure that every student has an equal opportunity to use the computer.
Alignment:
This sign up sheet aligns with the Competency 14.2. It ensures equal access to media and technology resources for all students. As a future teacher in the state, I plan on providing a sign up sheet in my classroom so I can monitor the usage of the computers.
