Web quest

 Context:

This web quest was created in my Media, Literacy, and technology class in the spring of 2002.  This web quest is  geared towards third grade and focuses on gardening, weather, science, language arts, and math.

Impact:

Luckily I now know how to create a web quest using microsoft word.  This will be helpful if I would ever like to create a lesson such as this for my own class.  Also, I could have my AG students create their own web quest for a more challenging lesson.  This particular web quest serves as a fun and challenging way to integrate technology into the classroom. The students are actively engaged in learning throughout this activity.   This web quest fulfills many of the NCSCS competencies for the third grade in technology, science, math, and language arts.

Alignment:  This assignment shows that I am aware of internet copy-right laws because after finishing the assignment I included a sources page which includes all the pictures that I used in the assignment as well as any of the web pages that we used to help us with research.  Therefore, this artifact corresponds with competency VI-A.
