Video Permission Slip

Video Permission Slip in Spanish

 Context:

This permission slip was used to enable myself as a teacher to take photographs and video tape of my students at school during my internship.  Teachers must always get permission when taking any pictures of a students for public or private use.  Also, this permission slip enabled me to use the pictures or video tape that I was able to take on the internet as well as in power point presentations and class discussions.

Impact

This project helped me as a teacher learn to get the proper permission of students' parents when taking pictures or video in the classroom.  I did not know that permission slips had to be signed prior to this activity.  The permission slip was accessed on the web and provided to me by my teacher, Jeff Goodman.  There was also a link to a spanish video permission slip.  I sent out these permission slips to my parents with the date and other information filled out.

Alignment

This project was an excellent way to use technology when communicating with parents because I got the permission slip on-line and then handed it out to my students.  This permission slip aligns with competency V-D because it shows how I can communicate using technology with parents and teachers by getting this permission slip on-line.
